This Website Design and Maintenance Policy outlines the terms, responsibilities, and processes governing all website design, development, and maintenance services provided by Webmagic. By engaging our services, clients agree to comply with this policy.

2. Project Scope and Requirements

2.1 Scope Definition

Each project begins with a clearly defined scope, including:

  1. Number of pages
  2. Features and functionalities
  3. Design style and branding
  4. Content requirements
  5. Integrations (payment gateways, booking systems, etc.)

Any work outside the agreed scope will be treated as an additional service and may incur extra charges.

2.2 Client Responsibilities

Clients must provide:

  1. Accurate business information
  2. Text content, images, and branding materials
  3. Access credentials (hosting, domain, email, etc.)
  4. Timely feedback and approvals

Delays in providing required materials may extend the project timeline.

3. Design Process

3.1 Initial Design Draft

Webmagic will provide an initial design draft based on the agreed requirements. Clients may request revisions according to the revision limits in the project agreement.

3.2 Revisions

  1. Minor revisions: color changes, text edits, image replacements
  2. Major revisions: layout changes, new pages, new features

Major revisions may incur additional fees if they fall outside the original scope.

3.3 Approval

Once the design is approved, development begins. Further design changes after approval may require additional charges.

4. Development and Delivery

4.1 Development Timeline

The development timeline is based on:

  1. Project size
  2. Client responsiveness
  3. Availability of required materials

Webmagic will provide an estimated timeline, but delays caused by the client may extend delivery.

4.2 Testing

Before launch, Webmagic will test:

  1. Responsiveness (mobile, tablet, desktop)
  2. Browser compatibility
  3. Forms and integrations
  4. Page speed and performance

4.3 Project Completion

A project is considered complete when:

  1. All agreed pages and features are delivered
  2. The client approves the final version
  3. The website is handed over or published

5. Content Ownership

5.1 Client?Provided Content

Clients retain full ownership of:

  1. Text content
  2. Images
  3. Logos and branding
  4. Videos and media

5.2 Webmagic?Created Content

Webmagic retains ownership of:

  1. Custom code
  2. Proprietary tools
  3. Licensed assets (unless purchased by the client)

Ownership may be transferred upon full payment and written agreement.

6. Payment Terms

6.1 Payment Structure

Website design projects follow one of the following:

  1. 50% upfront + 50% on completion, or
  2. Milestone?based payments, depending on the agreement

6.2 Non?Refundable Stages

Payments for completed stages are non?refundable.

6.3 Project Suspension

Webmagic may suspend work if:

  1. Payments are overdue
  2. Required materials are not provided
  3. The client becomes unresponsive for more than 14 days

7. Maintenance Services

7.1 Maintenance Coverage

Maintenance services may include:

  1. Content updates
  2. Plugin and theme updates
  3. Security monitoring
  4. Bug fixes
  5. Performance optimization

7.2 Maintenance Limitations

Maintenance does not include:

  1. Redesigns
  2. New features or pages
  3. Third?party service fees
  4. Fixing issues caused by client modifications

These may be billed separately.

7.3 Maintenance Plans

Clients may subscribe to monthly or annual maintenance plans. Non?subscribed clients may request support at standard hourly rates.

8. Client Responsibilities During Maintenance

Clients must:

  1. Avoid installing unverified plugins
  2. Avoid modifying core files
  3. Report issues promptly
  4. Maintain secure passwords

Webmagic is not responsible for issues caused by unauthorized changes.

9. Website Handover

Upon completion, Webmagic will provide:

  1. Admin login credentials
  2. Training (if included in the package)
  3. Documentation (if applicable)

After handover, the client is responsible for website management unless subscribed to a maintenance plan.

10. Project Cancellation

10.1 Client?Initiated Cancellation

If a client cancels the project:

  1. Work already completed must be paid for
  2. Refunds follow the Payment, Refund & Cancellation Policy

10.2 Webmagic?Initiated Cancellation

Webmagic may cancel a project if:

  1. The client violates policies
  2. Payments are not made
  3. The client becomes uncooperative or abusive

No refunds will be issued for violations.

11. Limitation of Liability

Webmagic is not liable for:

  1. Loss of revenue or data
  2. Issues caused by third?party services
  3. Security breaches due to client negligence
  4. Downtime caused by hosting providers

12. Acceptance of Policy

By using Webmagic’s website design and maintenance services, clients acknowledge and agree to this Website Design and Maintenance Policy.
